By Sea (Most Common)
Batangas to Puerto Galera
The most popular route for tourists:
- From Batangas Pier - Regular ferry and fastcraft services to Puerto Galera (Muelle Pier, Sabang, or White Beach)
- Travel Time - 1 to 1.5 hours depending on vessel type and destination port
- Operators - FastCat, Montenegro Lines, Si-Kat, and various bangka operators
- Tip - Book tickets in advance during peak season (Holy Week, Christmas, long weekends)
Batangas to Calapan
For those heading to Calapan City or southern municipalities:
- Roll-on/Roll-off (RORO) - Ferries accommodate vehicles
- Travel Time - Approximately 2-3 hours

By Air
There is currently no commercial airport with regular flights in Oriental Mindoro. The nearest airports are:
- NAIA (Manila) - Then travel to Batangas Port by bus or private vehicle (2-3 hours)
- San Jose Airport (Occidental Mindoro) - Limited flights, then overland travel

- Several bus companies operate from various terminals in Manila
